WE PROMISE AN ASIAN SPECTACULAR!

The coming of Spring always holds such promise of exultation and joy.  The anticipation and the excitement bubbles through every person’s spirit, eagerly craving to burst out from within!

For eight years in a row, LIFE & Discovery is presenting the ever popular Asian Spring Celebration – a tribute to Lunar New Year and an overture to the Coming of Spring!

This  year marks a departure from the usual,  the Celebration has been moved to a Historic Landmark  in Frederick – the Weinberg Center for the Arts and it will also feature a  two part program  – A Reception themed ‘A World of Splendor’ and the Asian Spring Performing Concert.

The Asian Spring Performing Concert starting at 7:00pm features a diverse and talented group of artists from local area and greater Washington D.C. From Chinese zithers to Indian dancers, from Korean drummers to Burmese singers, from Hawaiian delight to Indonesian rhythm, from flying swords to rock stars, there is a slice of Asia for everyone.  Tickets for the concert are $15 for adults and $10 for age 12 and under and are available online and at the Weinberg Center’s box office.
